Responsibilities

Primary Job Functions:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the 340B program to support the Director of Grants and 340B Programs in enhancing program efficiency, staff training, facility compliance, and related activities.
  • Conduct scheduled audits of contract and entity-owned pharmacies participating in the 340B program; address and resolve reconciliation issues arising from these audits.
  • Review referral reconciliation audits to ensure compliance with 340B program standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with all 340B program requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze 340B inventory and invoicing at both contract and entity-owned pharmacies.
  • Assist in payment reconciliation for entity-owned outpatient pharmacies.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of compliance and performance reporting.
  • Support additional tasks that promote the sustainability of the 340B and pharmacy programs.
  • Continue professional development through relevant classes, seminars, publications, and training opportunities.

 

Additional Job Functions:

  • Assist F&A department team members with review and analysis of data, as needed.
  • Provide input and suggestions to process improvements within the F&A division.

Administrative and Other Related Duties as assigned:

  • Actively participate in Performance Improvement activities.
  • Actively participate in AltaPointe committees as requested.
  • Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Follow AltaPointe policies and procedures.
  • Receive and respond to inquiries of department matters promptly and courteously.
  • Assist with performance of duties of other department staff in periods of absence.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to process and analyze large datasets.
  • Experience as a pharmacy technician or within a healthcare system is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills are a plus.
