Responsibilities

Maintains records of employees:

  • Maintains hard copy and electronic file on each employee, filing documents accurately in accordance with accrediting agencies’ standards and in a timely manner.
  • Maintains permanent record of employees, including the collection of missing items upon hire.
  • Performs record audits as necessary.
  • Maintains accurate and current primary source verifications for all licensed/credentialed staff.
  • Pulls active file upon termination, logs appropriate information and re-files appropriately.

 

Assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties:

  • Provides daily supervision for the HR Front Desk Receptionist including providing adequate coverage and filling in when appropriate.
  • Enters applicable data into HRIS.
  • Creates replacement employee badges and provides communication regarding pickup.
  • Assists HR Team as needed regarding copies, faxes, phone calls, mail outs, appointments, etc.
  • Provides back-up support to the Employment Assistant with general responsibilities (i.e., pre-employment screenings and/or paperwork, credentialing, orientation supplies and set up).
  • Ensures an adequate number of all necessary office supplies are on hand. Orders office supplies as necessary.
  • Responsible for the organization and neat appearance of the mail/copy and file rooms.
  • Responds to external inquiries including the completion of requests for basic verification of employment on current and former employees.

  • Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Works in a cooperative manner with other AltaPointe employees.
  • Follows AltaPointe policies and procedures.
  • Seeks supervision and guidance whenever needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Two years of college level course work in business, human resource management, or closely related field. Prior experience with an HRIS database, administration of benefits and other HR programs preferred.  General Knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

 

Strong interpersonal and computer skills; Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail and accuracy; Desire and ability to research and solve problems; Proven ability to work individually as well as on a team and consistently follow through with projects, assignments, and meet deadlines.
