Responsibilities
- Directs and organizes program activities.
- Writes program narratives, contracts, procedures and grants in a timely manner, as applicable.
- Establishes program goals and objectives that support the organization's strategic plan.
- Assures that program standards and objectives are met.
- Leads program planning, development and implementation.
- Identifies problems, evaluates alternatives and implements effective solutions.
- Monitors division contracts and budget.
- Monitors case loads and productivity of staff.
- Ensures that staff provides coverage for crisis intervention.
- Effectively collaborates with other AltaPointe program coordinators and outside sources.
- Adheres to professional code of ethics.
- Effectively demonstrates the application of child/adolescent specific competencies
- Interviews and screens applicants when necessary and completes appropriate forms as outlined by Personnel Policy and procedures.
- Provides training in the general orientaiton of the facility, policies and procedures, program operations and specific skill areas.
- Is knowledgeable and applies personnel policies and procedures on a consistent basis.
- Objectively completes performance evaluations on supervised staff and routes to Personnel Department on a timely basis.
- Promotes the concept of treatment teams. Acts as a memeber of the treatment team.
- Provides positive and effective leadership.
- Provides staff with consultation and supervision as needed, individually or through group staff meetings.
- Ensures competence of staff.
- Seeks clinical supervision and consultation as needed.
- Accepts and employs sugggestions for improvement.
- Actively works to enhance clinical and leadership skills.
- Treats consumers with care, dignity and compassion.
- Respects consumer's privacy and confidentiality.
- Is pleasant and cooperative with others.
- Assists consumers and visitors as needed.

- Actively participates in Performance Improvement activities.
- Actively participates in AltaPointe committees as required.
- Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner.
- Accesses appropriate community resources according to consumer needs.
- Follows AltaPointe policies and procesures.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a mental health discipline with at least two years post master's experience.
- Must be 23 years of age or older.
- Must have valid driver's license with liability insurance.
