West Mobile Adult Outpatient Program is an outpatient methadone maintenance program designed for consumers who are dependent on opiates. The treatment goal is to stabilize the consumer by administering methadone, which prevents withdrawal symptoms and craving, and blocks the undesirable effect of illicit use of self-administered opioids. They also assure that counseling is congruent with plans of treatment and regulations. Services include but are not limited to supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, systemic therapy, behavior modification, skills training, and relapse prevention.

Administrative and Other Related Duties as Assigned:
Bachelor degree in Social Work and Licensed in the State of Alabama as a Bachelor Level Social Worker with active NAADAC, AADAA, or IC&RC certification
Bachelor degree in a mental health discipline with active NAADAC, AADAA, or IC&RC certification
Master's degree in a mental health discipline with relevant internship and practicums completed. Licensure (LMTF, LICSW, LPC) preferred or eligible to receive NAADAC, AADAA, or IC&RC certification within 30 days.
