Adult Outpatient Programs provide the least restrictive level of care where adults may receive clinical interventions aimed at decreasing existing signs and symptoms. Outpatient treatment focuses on recovery, problem resolution, symptom reduction, stabilization and/or prevention of movement to a higher level of care. Treatment varies widely and depends upon the consumer’s presenting symptoms.
The Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Employment Specialist functions as a professional staff member of a multi-disciplinary team and carries out services of the IPS program by assisting adult outpatient consumers with serious mental illness to obtain and maintain employment that is consistent with their vocational and recovery goals. The Intensive Day Treatment Therapist provides clinical services within the Intensive Day Treatment program, ensuring high-quality therapeutic care, program compliance, and continuity of services. This position is responsible for assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, documentation, and clinical oversight of behavioral aides in the program.
