The Intensive Day Treatment Therapist provides clinical services within the Intensive Day Treatment program, ensuring high-quality therapeutic care, program compliance, and continuity of services. This position is responsible for assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, documentation, and clinical oversight of behavioral aides in the program.

Adult Outpatient Programs provide the least restrictive level of care where adults may receive clinical interventions aimed at decreasing existing signs and symptoms. Outpatient treatment focuses on recovery, problem resolution, symptom reduction, stabilization and/or prevention of movement to a higher level of care. Treatment varies widely and depends upon the consumer’s presenting symptoms.

These patients usually have been hospitalized multiple times, have a limited or no support system, inadequate basic living skills and persistent difficulty in illness and medication management. AltaPointe’s Adult Residential Services are designed for consumers with serious and persistent mental illness who require social rehabilitation and community support. Combining medical, nursing and clinical services, our staff provides care and treatment for more than 200 adults in need of intensive service provision. The Adult Residential Services Program consists of group homes, which are supervised 24 hours/day when consumers are on the premises.  Expected outcomes are the same for each adult group home: to prevent re-hospitalization and to maximize and maintain successful community placement.
