A School Based Therapist works in the Public School System to provide all administrative, clinical and mental health services for the consumers. They provide individual, group, family, and play therapy. They also provide outreach services to the consumers and family members.   This position will be starting with the 2025-2026 school year.

A Mental Health Technician is a professional who provides support to mental healthcare professionals within a mental health crisis center facility.  They observe and record patient behavior and activities and make report to nurses and doctors as required. They ensure patient comfort and care while being treated by engaging with patients during groups and between medical treatments, preparing and serving patient meals, and supervising patient showers and other personal care as needed.  Mental Health Technicians also ensure patient safety by utilizing de-escalation skills to calm patients who might be experiencing a crisis. All de-escalation skills and training will be provided after hire.

This Crisis Center operates a 24/7/365 with a full complement of staff to provide crisis de-escalation and resolution no matter the time or the day.

An Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) Therapist works with individuals court-ordered to receive mental health treatment in the community. They assess clients' mental health needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy to help manage conditions like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or trauma and co-occurring substance use disorders. The therapist ensures clients follow their treatment plan, including medication, and monitors progress to prevent re-hospitalization. Combining medical, nursing and clinical services, our staff provides care and treatment for more than 200 adults in need of intensive service provision. The Adult Residential Services Program consists of group homes, which are supervised 24 hours/day when consumers are on the premises.  Expected outcomes are the same for each adult group home: to prevent re-hospitalization and to maximize and maintain successful community placement. The Community Health Champions Internship Program is a semester-long experiential learning opportunity designed to engage undergraduate students in HIV/AIDS prevention and outreach efforts. The program aims to equip interns with practical skills, knowledge, and experiences to become effective advocates and contributors to public health efforts, particularly in underserved communities.
